My name is Bear Windsong, and I am the co-owner of Bear Earth Body Essentials. I am an alternative queer hairstylist based in Reno, Nevada. I have a passion for beauty, music, and the environment.
With over a decade of experience in the hair industry, I am dedicated to helping my clients achieve and maintain healthy hair. I specialize in long-lasting and protective styles, such as weekly silk presses, blow-outs, box braids, and feed-ins. I have extensive experience in creating unique looks for those who value individuality and self-expression, drawing from my background in the local punk/goth scene. My personal favorites are shocking neons and rich jewel tones.
I am currently located at the Beauty Project Salon in midtown Reno, NV. Additionally, I am a service provider for the Beauty Project Foundation, a non-profit organization that offers self-care services to individuals facing financial hardship, recent release from incarceration, homelessness, or similar situations.
